In July 2025, a baby Japanese macaque was born at Ichikawa City Zoo — and abandoned by his mother within days. The zookeepers gave him something to hold onto: a stuffed orangutan plushie that became his surrogate, his comfort, his constant companion. This hand-painted custom dial captures that bond in tender detail — a young snow monkey clutching his orange plushie against a backdrop of weathered rocks and trailing green ivy beneath a soft blue sky. Named after the little macaque who captured hearts around the world, Punch is a reminder that love finds a way, even in the most unlikely places.
Built on the Citizen Tsuyosa platform in a compact 37mm stainless steel case with cushion-shaped proportions, this bespoke timepiece houses the Caliber 8210 automatic movement with 42 hours of power reserve. Protected by anti-reflective sapphire crystal and water-resistant to 50 metres, each one carrying a story worth telling.
